Terms of Service/Policies

These terms and conditions govern your use of any and all services provided by Green Clean, LLC DBA Green Cleaning, owned by “ClearChoice Investments”. By scheduling a one-time or recurring cleaning service with Green Cleaning, you agree to the following terms and conditions and that you are financially responsible for services.
Green Cleaning promises to provide quality service by:

Providing a professional cleaning service that is licensed, bonded, and insured.

24-hour satisfaction guarantee - If you are not satisfied with all or a portion of your cleaning, let us know within 24 hours by calling, texting, or emailing us. A cleaner(s) will be sent back to your home to redo the portion that was not satisfactory at no charge to you. Our cleaners must be allowed to come back within 48 business hours from the original cleaning. We are not able to offer cash refunds or discounts for poor quality on the original bill in place of a redo.
For us to provide you with the best possible service, please:

Make your property accessible by either leaving it unlocked or providing us with the security code or location of a key. A fee will be charged if we are unable to access your home at the time of your scheduled cleaning (see lockout policy below).

Please disarm security systems or provide us with instructions to disarm them upon entry and rearm them upon leaving the premises.

We will not be held responsible for false alarms or misuse of the system, including charges from police or security companies, or other charges related to an activated alarm. Additionally, you agree to hold harmless and/or release Green Cleaning from any and all liability relating to any failure of the alarm or not arming the alarm properly.

Give cleaners full access to the home. Our cleaners work in a specific order to ensure efficiency and thoroughness. If you need to direct our cleaners to clean certain areas first or to clean in a different order than they normally would, this may add additional time to your cleaning. Any additional time accrued by our team will be charged at our current hourly rate in fifteen-minute increments.

Have your home picked up and decluttered. We do not move furniture or clutter. We may move furniture or clutter upon request and/or at the discretion of the cleaning staff.

Give accurate information about the condition of the home. Hourly charges may be incurred if cleaners require more time to clean a job or if the home is not ready to be cleaned due to the condition of the home.

We are not equipped to clean bug infestations, bodily fluids, pet waste, extensive grease, or fire/water damage. If our staff does not feel safe in a home or environment, they will leave or we will remove them.

If we are not able to clean the entire space due to the conditions, you will still be responsible for the full cost of the cleaning.

We do not do dishes, and we do not make beds as part of our normal services. Some cleaners may do these tasks if asked by the client, but it is at the cleaner’s discretion whether they do so. Vacation Rentals are an exception to this, and we follow the guidelines of each specific BNB handbook.
Consent for cleaners to take photographs and videos

You agree that cleaners may take photographs inside or outside your home in order to document the cleaning process.

You agree that cleaners may take photographs to be used for marketing purposes (such as before and after photos). Photos will not have explicit client-identifying information such as last names, street numbers, family photos, etc. However, if you decline to have photos taken on your property, please notify us before your first cleaning service, and we will refrain from doing so.

Scheduling & Requests to reschedule appointments will be subject to our availability.
Scheduling

Recurring cleanings are scheduled according to one of the Green Cleaning Checklists (Residential, Commercial, Short-term Vacation Rentals (AirBnb's)) and priorities discussed when defining your service. One-Time Cleanings are scheduled as standard blocks of time. Every effort will be made to complete your service within the time allocated. Please note that it will take a few cleanings to confirm your ongoing maintenance needs. We ask for your patience while we learn how to best clean your home and assure you that we will move from deep cleaning into maintenance cleaning as quickly as possible.

We strive to have the same staff members clean your home or office on a regular basis, however, this is not guaranteed. Due to vacation, illness, or departure from the company, Green Cleaning may occasionally provide a replacement cleaning technician.

If, due to the unique nature of your home, your cleaner(s) are unable to complete your cleaning within the amount of time requested, we may call you to ask for authorization to spend more time cleaning your home. We will inform you of additional costs before proceeding with the work.
Cancellation

Our employees depend on a full schedule. If you need to cancel an appointment with us, you must notify us by phone or email. If you cancel an appointment within 72 hours of but more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, you agree to pay for half of the original service price. If you cancel an appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, you agree to pay the full service price. Exceptions to this would be proof of an emergency. We are happy to accommodate you with a rescheduled appointment in lieu of a cancellation fee. However, that will be subject to availability. We send out automatic notifications via text and/or email to remind you of your appointment. These are sent out 72 hours prior to your appointment and also at 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Schedule or service changes may not be made through the cleaners. Please contact your local office directly for schedule changes.

Termination of regularly scheduled cleanings must be in writing or by email.

Recurring service is priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, please note that our regular One-Time Cleaning charges will apply.
Lockouts

If we are unable to access the premises upon arrival at your scheduled appointment time, or if we are turned away at the door, a lockout fee equal to half the service price will be owed or charged to the credit card on file.
Payment

Green Cleaning gladly accepts AMEX, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, cash, or check.

Full payment is due at the time of service.

A credit card number must be kept on file with your Green Cleaning office. Your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees, after each service unless you leave an alternate form of payment at time of service. Approval is needed in advance to be invoiced for your service.

A $50 fee will be charged for each returned check.
Gratuity

Green Cleaning never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your cleaning technician. Even a personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.
Referral Fee

Should you wish to hire a present or past Green Cleaning staff member for any home or commercial related service outside of your agreement with Green Cleaning, our referral fee is $2,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from Green Cleaning. If the fee is not paid, Green Cleaning reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.
Please Note: Schedules are based upon the best available information at time of agreement, and schedules are subject to change.
Inclement Weather

We will not jeopardize the safety of our cleaners during inclement weather. We will reschedule your appointment, if necessary.
Equipment
​

We provide cleaning materials. If you require us to use your solutions or equipment, they must be safe to use and/or operate. They must also be in full working order.

If you require us to use your materials or equipment, we do not accept any liability due to the operation of the equipment or the outcome of using such equipment.
